Starting tomorrow, all students will be required to wear their school ID at all times during the school day. This is an important part of maintaining a safe and secure learning environment. If your child has lost their ID, please contact the school office to request a replacement. We will provide up to two replacement IDs at no cost. Beginning with the third replacement, there will be a $5.00 charge. Thank you for your support in helping us keep our school safe and organized. Please reach out to the main office if you have any questions.

West MS Families: Starting Monday, 8/25, all students must wear their school ID on a lanyard or have it on their person every day. This is an important safety measure. Replacement IDs will be available soon. Please help remind your child to bring and wear their ID daily.

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) will be rolling up to West Middle School for the upcoming school year. Students from Haskell (where this program has been housed for elementary) are able to continue in this special program in middle school for the first time ever! This program will serve 6th grade students at West in 2025-2026 and will continue to roll up all the way to 8th grade in the coming years. This special program is open to families that reside in Rockford Public School boundaries.
