State Superintendent Tony Thurmond announced the 2023 California Classified School Employees of the Year, which included Jose “JR” Gudino, a mechanic specialist working in the Transportation Department in CUSHD. On Tuesday, Jose joined other honorees in Sacramento and was congratulated by Thurmond and Assemblymember Gail Pellerin.
Students from Westmont's Agriculture program and the Campbell chapter of Future Farmers of America organized the "Family Fun Agriculture" day at the Campbell FFA AG Farm today. Students were promoting agriculture awareness and showed off some of the animals they've helped raise at the farm. Westmont's Agriculture program is one of CUHSD's many career and technical education pathways where students can get hands-on experience in a range of careers.
